The 2010 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games in London, Ontario represent an incredible achievement – both personally and athletically – for each of the over 1,400 athletes and coaches who will participate.
Each athlete will receive the full Games experience, which includes full participation and access to the athletes’ village, opening and closing ceremonies, high-calibre athletic venues and qualified officials. They will also have access to a complimentary Healthy Athletes® clinic to provide needed health care services as well as social events planned , thus ensuring great memories and experiences during the Games.
The cost to host each athlete is $1,000. By adopting an athlete you will provide a Special Olympics athlete the opportunity to compete at the 2010 Special Olympics Canada Summer Games along with the chance to qualify for the 2011 Special Olympics World Summer Games in Athens, Greece.
By adopting an athlete you will receive:
- Recognition in all publications
- Preferred seating for two to both the opening and closing ceremonies
- A special memento commemorating the Games
- A charitable tax receipt.
